EARTH DAY CE: VRHOH’S ONGOING COMMITMENT TO VETERINARY EDUCATION

VRHOH’s Angie Davis, RVT, Melinda Kilby, vet. asst., and Timber Carver, receptionist welcome attendees.

There are many ways to celebrate Earth Day: to plant a tree, bake Earth cookies, recycle, or volunteer. For 70 veterinarians and Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory staff members, they decided Earth Day was best spent learning things that enhance patient care. That certainly makes the Earth a better place.

The Earth Day Veterinary CE held on April 22, 2018 was the latest in a series of continuing education events provided by Veterinary Referral Hospital for the North Carolina veterinary community. 70 veterinarians attended and heard topics on heart disease, dentistry, diabetes, pancreatitis, and microbiology. Our speakers included specialists from Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory, as well as North Carolina State Veterinary College, Hospital For Veterinary Dentistry & Oral Surgery, and Idexx Laboratories.

Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory appreciates the support of our sponsors, Royal Canin, MWI, and Idexx, for this event.

Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory is proud to be a veterinary referral resource in North Carolina. We are committed to bringing regional and nationally-recognized experts in different fields of veterinary medicine to our area to provide valuable continuing education opportunities to veterinarians and veterinary technicians at no cost.

Members of the veterinary community can follow our events page for upcoming CE events.
