VETERINARY REFERRAL HOSPITAL OF HICKORY WELCOMES NEW SURGEON
Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory is pleased to welcome a new talent to their all-star lineup of veterinarians!
Dr. Hani Korani is Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory’s new full-time Surgeon. Dr. Korani is a seasoned veterinary surgeon with a passion for saving animals.
“I made a promise to myself to do everything in my power to become not only a surgeon – but a good surgeon. I was fortunate to have completed my small animal surgical residency at NCSU where I could observe and perform many technical and complicated surgeries, which gave me the skills and confidence to approach intricate cases,” Korani says.
In addition to a wealth of experience from years of work as a clinician, Dr. Korani brings a background in education as Assistant Professor of Small Animal Surgery at Tuskegee University.
“We are very excited to have Dr. Korani as a part of the team at Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory. We know his surgical skills and experience will be beneficial to our patients, clients, and practice,” says Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory’s hospital administrator Mike Bridges.
Dr. Korani performs routine and complex surgeries such as neurological, orthopedic, and oncological procedures at Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory. The addition of Dr. Korani is one more way Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory is committed to offering the pets of Catawba County outstanding specialized care beyond the scope of general veterinary practices. When your pet is sick or injured, Veterinary Referral Hospital of Hickory is outfitted with a 24-hour emergency room, state-of-the art diagnostic equipment, and surgical suites.
